Transition Arrangements

Once the school has offered a place to a student:

• Our SEN Team will make contact with parents/carers and the student’s current provision.
• A school tour and/or home visit will be made by the child’s tutor and a member of the Pastoral Team.

Year 6 pupils joining the school at the beginning of the following academic year will be invited to attend two taster days in the summer term, preceding the point of entry.

Exit Criteria & Arrangements

The school is committed to offering carefully structured access and transition to a mainstream school if appropriate.
