The SEND Support Service The SEND Support Service offers advice and support to children, young people, families, carers and a range of educational establishments for children with special educational needs and/or autism, aged 0 to 19 years.

Child & Adolescents Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

IASS - Northamptonshire’s Information, Advice and Support Service a statutory service which is run at ‘arm’s length’ from the Local Authority and provides free, confidential, impartial advice, guidance and support to parents of children with special educational needs and children and young people with SEND.

Independent Provider of Special Education Advice (IPSEA) A registered charity operating in England. IPSEA offers free and independent legally based information, advice and support to help get the right education for children and young people with all kinds of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

West Northants Voices in Partnership (WNVP) An independent group of Parent Carers who all have a child/young person (CYP) with a Special Educational Need and/or Disability (SEND).

ASD & ADD/ADHD The Children and Young People Team provide diagnosis and treatment for children aged 5-18 years old with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Asperger’s Syndrome. All children in secondary school with ADHD/ASD are referred to us.

Counselling You can get free psychological therapies like cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) on the NHS. You do not need a referral from a GP. You can refer yourself directly. Psychological therapies services are also known as Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT).
